On Friday August 22nd we played Alta High School. Alta is the defending 5A state champs. I really thought we had a good game plan put together and that we would give them a game. With the final score 42-6 I guess that's what I get for thinking. Even though the team didn't play well I am happy with the play of the o-line. We had mistakes but the boys played hard. We only gave up 1 sack and for the most part our QB had time to throw. Our run game did well. We had over 360 yard total offense. We were in the red zone 5 time and only came away with 1 touchdown. To many penalties and turnovers. We have a lot to work on but that's what its all about, improving each game. We have a tuff task in front of us with Timpview, defending 4A state champs, but I'm optimistic. I think if we execute and limit our mistakes we will win.
