Let's See how this goes?

Well, were not very good at getting information out, and were always forgetting someone or something. We found out about blogging from Jeff and Martha and have decided to give it a try. Our lives are so crazy right now. With both Liana and I working and the end of school approaching it seems as though there is not enough time in the day. This week alone we have had Nick's two preschool graduations, Bradyn's 2nd grade program, Katies kindergarten graduation, Elle's sixth grade graduation, and Elle and Bradyn's piano recital. Needless to say were looking forward to Memorial Day weekend up at the cabin.
Last week was a very exciting week for the entire family. I have been working with the Spanish Fork track team for the last three years. I have really enjoyed the time I have spent with the kids. We last week end (May 16-17) the girls won the state title. It was our third title in for years. The one year we did win we took second place to Davis High School, losing by only four points. I had some great kids to work with, one of my discus throwers (Natasha Sandbourn) took second place in state.
One of the reasons I am interested in a blog is to use this as a family journal. Liana and I have had so much happen over the past 13 going on 14 years of our marriage. Most notably four wonderful children (Elle 11. Bradyn 8, Katie 6, and Nick 4), 5 years of school and football at the U, numerous experiences that I'm afraid will be lost because of time. So hopefully this will be the start of something new and we can be consistent with it.
One note to mention is Nick's surgery on May 12. Nick had to go in and have a procedure done on his urethra. Everything went well and he is making a full recovery. Just to add to Nick being back to himself. The Sunday morning after the track meet we had slept in. Bradyn came up at 8:40 and asked if we were going to church, church starting at 9:00). We were in a hurry and had told the kids to get a quick bowl of cereal. Elle asked for the sugar. I asked her why she was putting sugar on cereal. She said that Liana had said she could. I said to her "I didn't ask you that, why are you putting sugar on your cereal". Without missing a beat Nick looked at me and said, "Because it's delicious". It was a cute response and helped break the tension from a hectic morning.

I'll add a couple of pictures here at the bottom. They are of the kids at the Red and White game up at the University of Utah. We went with Jeff and his kids, Adrienne, and Grandpa Jackson. After the scrimmage we went to eat. After lunch we stopped at a bakery to get some cookies. While inside we meet three Utah gymnast who approached us when they Saw the kids all dressed up in Utah red. After talking with them they took a second and had their pictures taken with the kids.
